In-Pipe Technology, Inc. Announces Agreement in China with Tianjin Zhuoer Haipai Environmental Technologies to Treat Tianjin Canal
May 15, 2015
WOOD DALE, IL (PRWEB)
During storm season (March to August), the Tianjin Canal is polluted by I/I from sewage and rainwater overflow resulting in odor issues/sediment deposits in the canal area. The pilot project using In-Pipe’s technology will seed the canal with beneficial bacteria to promote the burndown of waste from the sewage/stormwater, reducing odor. The project was initiated in early May and will continue for at least six months leading to additional projects.
“This is a very important project for Tianjin, In-Pipe and Tianjin Zhuoer Haipai Environmental,” said John Williams, President & CEO. “We are all very excited about the beneficial impact our technology will have on the environment and solving a significant problem for Tianjin.”
In-Pipe’s patented technology includes regularly adding a high concentration formulation of facultative, naturally-occurring, non-pathogenic bacteria to strategic locations throughout the sewer system in accordance with an engineered plan. This entails zero capital cost and no additional energy requirement. Performance in the collection system provides increased capacity within the plant, forestalls costly upgrades, and extends the life of the existing infrastructure.
In-Pipe Technology offers specialized technical expertise, strong customer understanding, and deep resource knowledge. Since In-Pipe uses natural, biological methods that complement a treatment plant’s own processes, In-Pipe is a sustainable solution − environmentally and economically.
